As much as I love decorating, I have a really hard time finding, committing to and purchasing art. Sometimes because I can't find anything that I like and sometimes because I'm too cheap to pay the price; especially considering how often I like to change things up. I just don't want to be "married" to something and, later, feel like I have to leave it up even if I've decided I don't like it so much. Anyway, one of my favorite things to do is to buy calendars (yes, calendars) and frame the artwork in them. There are some beautiful calendars out there. For instance, I love Rodney White prints like this one...
However, this particular print is $165.00 on eBay (and I've seen them for much more in cutesy Franklin shops). But...for somewhere around $20.00 you can buy a Rodney White calendar at Borders bookstore (and elsewhere, I'm sure, but this is where I saw one earlier this week), frame several of these in like frames and make a whole collage of Rodney White art. Voila!
I have some framed calendar prints in my laundry room. I promise to take a picture of them and add to this post later today.

Could you post them sooner than later???? I would love to see them. I have heard of people doing this before but not actually seen it finised and your house is so beautiful I am sure they are really tasteful.
Blessings,
Linda
