Being Mistreated

One of my favorite blogs is The Nesting Place. I heart "The Nester" because she has an absolutely beautiful home done on a budget and because she so freely shares her secrets and ideas.

One of the things that I love is fabric. Take me to a fabric store and I can wander around there forever....looking at all of the colors, combinations and textures. I would LOVE to have magnificent window treatments in every room of my house...hanging full and lush from iron medallions or chunky rods, complete with cool trims, cordings, tassels and the like. But I don't because of the cost.

Because "The Nester" moves a lot, spends little and knows that fabric completes a room, she has come up with a term that she refers to as Window Mistreatments. She uses things like glue guns and upholstery tacks.

Today she's having a Mistreatment Partay and I wasn't invited. No...seriously...I was invited (and so were you) but in order to participate, you had to have pictures of your own mistreatments to share and I haven't actually done any yet although my mind is reeling about where to begin.

In the meantime, go on over and see everyone else's stuff. Take a look at Nester's left-hand sidebar for links to all of her mistreatment posts.

I have been out of town but I was anticipating the partay and have already looked at at least 15 of them.
Have a great day!
Blessings,
Linda

I feel the same way about fabric stores! I could live in one for a day...
