I'm officially OVER it

I know that someone (probably my husband) is going to accuse me of wishing my life away but this blog is all about being real and I am being SO real when I say that I am ready for Fall. I don't know what happened or when it happened but I can NOT tolerate this heat. Actually, today is milder than many with a temperature of 94 degrees and humidity at 42% but. I'm telling you, it's not for me. I was blessed to take after my Dad in the perspiration department so I go from perfectly coifed to flat and dripping wet in less than 5 minutes. And forget about make-up...I don't know why I bother. Seriously, after being outside for 20 minutes or so, I don't even look like the same person.

These are some of the things about Fall that I'm looking forward to.....

I can't say that I'm necessarily a die-hard sports fan but Tennessee Vols football, I enjoy. There is nothing quite like a game in Neyland Stadium. Besides that, this year my baby brother, Carson, will be playing for Cumberland University and my 6-year-old nephew, John, is playing for the first time as well.

Lovin' me some cozy, comfy sweaters!

...and the site of these is always something to behold in the great state of Tennessee.

I love the fall as well. I am so not a UT fan but you are right there is nothing like a game at their stadium. It is always packed. I have been a few times when they played Memphis of course we lost but that's okay. I also love some comfy sweaters. We had a heat index of 105 here today, at one point the temp in my car read 112. Ridiculous. :)
Keep Cool,
Linda

I'm sorry, but because of the second picture on this post, I can never ever visit your blog again. My hatred for all teams orange runs that deep. Nothing good is associated with orange: Auburn, Florida, and Tennessee. Ugh...I get nauseated just typing those words. I bleed red and black. Red. And. Black.

Thanks for letting me in on your husband's saying. That makes so much sense. He seems to think alot like my husband (except for the above reason). Really, just kidding about not coming back....but don't tell my husband.
